5Payment Services (Stripe Connect)

Availability: Payment processing features are currently only available in Brazil. Organizations in other countries cannot use the payment features. How Payments Work: Ceramik uses Stripe Connect to facilitate payments between students and teachers. Teachers can create invoices for class fees and receive payments directly to their bank accounts. Students can pay invoices using credit/debit cards. Ceramik acts as a platform facilitating these transactions but is not a party to the payment agreement between teachers and students. Platform Fee: A platform fee of 10% is applied to all payments processed through Ceramik. This fee is deducted from the payment before it reaches the teacher's account. By using the payment features, you also agree to Stripe's Services Agreement and Stripe Connected Account Agreement. Teacher Responsibilities: Teachers using payment features agree to provide accurate business and banking information, comply with all applicable tax laws and regulations, issue accurate invoices for services rendered, and handle refunds and disputes in accordance with their policies. Student Responsibilities: Students using payment features agree to provide valid payment information, pay invoices for services received, and contact the teacher directly for refund requests or disputes. Refunds and Disputes: Refunds are handled directly between teachers and students. Ceramik is not responsible for resolving payment disputes. Chargebacks and fraudulent transactions may result in account suspension.
